AI Slides Generator
Convert speaker notes into designed decks: outline wording and assets, then polish on View & Revise with the toolbar (text/images), thumbnail reorder, regenerate, chat, and PowerPoint export.
tune Slides Setup Preferences
- Upload Speaker Notes: Select `.docx`, `.txt`, or `.md` files up to 50MB from local storage, Google Drive, or OneDrive — or arrive with preloaded notes from Speaker Notes.
- Level of Detail: Choose Brief (high-level executive overview), Moderate (balanced bullet points), or Comprehensive (deep detailed slides).
- Strict Notes Structure: When enabled, slide headings and content map strictly to your source file without expanding into external concepts.
- Visual Branding: Pick a preset color palette, target audience type, and presenting environment tone.
reorder Composing & Organizing the Slide Outline
- Reorder units: Drag the grip (six dots) on unit chips in the strip. Drop on another unit to reorder.
- Remove or add: Use X on a unit card to remove; + Add unit for more content blocks.
- Attach figures & crops: Upload photos or charts per unit. Use the crop tool when attaching to frame key visuals.
- Custom chart inputs: Add data series on units for chart generation at finalize.
- Return to Outline: From View & Revise, use Edit Deck to adjust text or assets, then Finalize again.
slideshow View & Revise — Toolbar, Thumbnails & Chat
- Text Edit: Click wording on the slide. Add a freeform text box — drag to place, double-click to type, click outside to finish. Done themes freeform boxes to the deck look.
- Image Edit: Select any picture (original or added). Drag to move; drag a corner of the frame to resize. Add or Replace from this device or cloud. Regenerating refits text around a picture you have placed.
- Fonts & size: Font pair dropdown and A+ / A- on the toolbar (or ask in chat). Hosted fonts only.
- Regenerate: Polishes the selected slide. With no local edits, refreshes layout and colors while keeping the title and deck design language. After you edit, refits around your changes.
- Thumbnails: Drag the grip to reorder; X to remove (at least one slide remains); Add slide for a themed blank (title + "Input text") with no AI wait.
- Scope: Slide vs Deck for toolbar/chat ops that support it. Regenerate always targets the current slide.
- Chat: Colors, tone, layout (two columns, a big stat), or rewrite a title/bullets. One clear goal per message. If you ask Chat to do something the toolbar already does, it will explain the control first (same how-to as this page).

Each exported slide is rendered as a high-fidelity full-bleed frame to ensure fonts, alignments, and visual cards do not shift or break across different versions of Microsoft Office or Google Slides. To modify text or layout, revise in PrezGo and click Export again.

After your deck is designed and revised on View & Revise, you can pass it forward into Printable Handouts — the same idea as Speaker Notes' Generate → Slides / Generate → Handouts, but starting from this slide deck.
- Generate Handouts: On View & Revise (with a finished deck), use Generate Handouts in the top bar. PrezGo packages slide content (and source notes when available) and opens Handouts Setup with that material pre-loaded so you can build printable A4 takeaways without re-uploading the deck by hand.
- What gets carried over: Structure and wording from your deck are prepared for the handout generator. You still set Handouts preferences (detail level, audience, tone, colors) and can revise the handout draft in Chat before exporting PDF.
- Export vs handoff: Export downloads or shares PowerPoint (.pptx), a 24-hour share link, or cloud save. Generate Handouts continues the workflow into the Handouts tool. You can do both — keep a PPTX and produce audience handouts from the same session.

Is the first deck final? expand_more
No — it is a draft. Use Text Edit, Image Edit, Regenerate, chat, and Undo as needed, then Export for PowerPoint. Clearer chat prompts usually produce better edits.
What files can I upload? expand_more
Speaker notes as .docx, .txt, or .md, max 50MB. Use Add file for This device, Google Drive, or OneDrive. You can also send notes from Speaker Notes via Generate → Slides.
How do I add, reorder, or delete slides? expand_more
In the thumbnail strip on View & Revise: drag the grip to reorder, X to remove (at least one slide must remain), and Add slide for a blank themed title + body. No AI wait for Add. Chat can also delete or duplicate when the request is clear.
What does Regenerate do? expand_more
It polishes the selected slide. If you have not edited that slide since the last refine, it refreshes layout and colors while keeping the title and deck design language. If you have moved images, typed freeform text, or similar, it refits around those changes instead of wiping them.
How do freeform text boxes work? expand_more
Turn on Text Edit, then Add. Drag to place, double-click (or Enter when selected) to type, click outside to finish. Use the lock on the box if you want regenerate to keep its position. Done applies container styling that matches the deck.
How do I export or share my deck? expand_more
Open Export for PowerPoint download, a 24-hour share link, or save to Google Drive or OneDrive. Separately, use Generate Handouts on View & Revise to continue into Printable Handouts with this deck pre-loaded.
How do I generate handouts from this deck? expand_more
On View & Revise, with a finished deck, click Generate Handouts. PrezGo packages the deck (and source notes when available) and opens Handouts Setup pre-loaded — similar to Speaker Notes' Generate → Handouts, but from slides. What does Slide vs Deck scope mean? expand_more
Slide limits toolbar and chat style/content ops to the selected thumbnail when supported. Deck applies broader changes across slides (for example fonts or remove images). Regenerate always targets the current slide.
Why aren't PowerPoint shapes editable? expand_more
Export is a pixel match of the preview: each slide is a full-bleed image so layout stays faithful. Edit in PrezGo and re-export if you need changes.
